Here are some practical ways you can do to protect your home and your family from the disease.
Keeping Your Home Clean During COVID-19 Pandemic

Clean
- Wear disposable gloves when you are cleaning your home.
- Clean surfaces using soap and water.
- Clean surfaces, such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, phones, toilets, faucets, sinks

Disinfect
- Use diluted household bleach solutions. Check if the solution is appropriate for disinfection
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application and proper ventilation.
- Use alcohol solutions with at least 70% of alcohol.

When using electronics such as tablets, touch screens, keyboards, remote controls, and ATMs:
- Place a wipeable cover on the electronics.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and disinfecting.
- You can use alcohol-based sanitizers or sprays containing at least 70% alcohol. Then, dry the surface before using them.

Laundry
- Check the clothes’ manufacturer’s instructions and follow.
- Use warm water and dry the items thoroughly.
- Wear disposable gloves or appropriate hand cover to avoid touching the items.
- Do not shake dirty laundry.
- You also have to clean and disinfect clothes hamper according to the manufacturer’s instructions
- After doing laundry, remove your gloves and wash your hands right away.
